Unlimited Feet Performing Arts is under the Directorship of Mr. Jayson Smart & he has been offering quality tuition to dance students for over 30 years with many former students going onto tertiary training and professional dance careers. Unlimited Feet Performing Arts began in Murray Bridge & Glenunga in 1993 after Jayson purchased the Pamela Phillips School of Ballet. In 2005, Jayson purchased the Ecole de Ballet studio & ran UFPA in the Morphett Vale studio for 16 years. Unlimited Feet Performing Arts studio now offers classes in Murray Bridge.
Jayson commenced his studies with Kay Cranwell, Gwen Mackey and Susan Taylor in Adelaide before furthering his studies in London and New York. On returning to Adelaide, Jayson began studying at the University of Adelaide, completing a Bachelor of Arts (Dance) in 1989 & a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) in Dance Methodology in 1991 allowing him to teach dance in schools to Year 12 level. He is currently teaching at Reynella East College.
Jayson is a member of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) (London) & the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (COMDANCE). He has been the Chairperson of the South Australian Regional Advisory Panel of the Royal Academy of Dance & has been a member of the Dance Subject Advisory Committee for the Senior Secondary Assessment Board of South Australia (SSABSA) & represented studio teachers & dance educationalists for Ausdance – The Australian Dance Council.
Jayson holds the Theatrical, Classical &Tap Teaching Diplomas of the CSTD, the Teaching Certificate & Teaching Diploma of the RAD & is a fully registered member of the RAD, permitting him to enter students for affiliated examinations.
In 2008 Jayson was appointed an examiner for the CSTD & examines students in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap & Theatrical exams throughout Australia, Asia & North America. He has been appointed as a Practical Teaching Supervisor for the RAD to assess the final unit for new teachers gaining their RAD Teaching Qualification. He has also attained his Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
In 2018, Jayson was awarded the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing Leslie P. Newman Award for “Outstanding Service to Dance”
At Unlimited Feet Performing Arts Jayson teaches the Classical Ballet classes, Tap & Jazz classes & Contemporary classes. Fun fact — he has been to 4 Disneylands!!!

Jess Flood
CERT III (DANCE), ELEMENTARY BALLET (CSTD),
Miss Jess is teaches all levels of acrobatics, senior contemporary and senior hip hop. Previously she has taught all ages in a variety of genres including tiny feet, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary and acrobatics. Jess has worked with UFPA for 5 years now and has loved every second of it! She loves that we have an amazing little dance community with awesome staff and excellent students. She’s also loved getting to know the students of all ages, and watch them grow as dancers and in life.
Miss Jess has danced since she was four, so she is now in her nineteenth year of dancing. She holds a Certificate III in Dance, is a Module 1 Certified AcroArts teacher and has completed ballet exams up to CSTD Elementary. When Jess isn’t teaching dance, she works as a support worker, and recently completed her Bachelor of Psychology.
Gypsy Roan
Joining the UFPA faculty this year, Miss Gypsy is very excited to be teaching contemporary, hip hop and jazz on Monday nights. Gypsy has been dancing since she was just two years old in many different styles including contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and tap. She is delighted to be able to work with the UFPA team this year and to see the students grow as dancers. When Gypsy’s not at dance she enjoys playing netball and going camping with friends and family.
Skyla Schmid
Miss Skyla is currently teaching Tuesday night classes, including junior jazz, tap and hip hop and our Tiny Feet Dance class. Skyla has been dancing since she was three, with 15 of those years being at UFPA, where she has trained in jazz, tap, hip hop and contemporary and been an assistant teacher in previous years.
Skyla is grateful to be a part of the UFPA team as she loves seeing the students improve and gain confidence. When Skyla isn’t at the studio, she’s either studying business and management at university or travelling the world.
